Our suite of Dental Blue® plans are designed to provide flexibility to meet your client's needs and budgets. The options open to employers vary by size. Plan options are listed below.
In network providers are available locally and nationally. Whether your client has employees primarily in Massachusetts or has a workforce that spans the country, their employees can find a network provider nearby.
- Access to more than 90 percent of the provider locations in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island through the Dental Blue traditional indemnity network.
- Dental Blue PPO provides access to in-network care through more than 2,100 provider locations in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.
- Each Dental Blue plan offers access to a network of nearly 80,000 provider locations across the country.

Dental Blue (Indemnity) — Offers benefits and broad in-network access. Plans can be customized to best meet your client's dental care needs. This now includes an exciting new benefit for our dental plans. Beginning with January 2009 renewals, all small group dental plans (those with fewer than 51 eligible members) will now include an Accumulated Maximum Rollover benefit on their anniversary date. This rollover benefit will allow each member to roll over certain unused annual dental benefits to be used in a future year (provided they meet specific criteria). Details of this new benefit can be found on the last page of any Summary of Benefits listed in the column "Summary of Benefits with Max Rollover". This benefit is optional for large groups.

Dental Blue PPO — Offers access to a network of preferred dentists for lower member cost shares, while giving access to out-of-network providers. This now includes an exciting new benefit for our dental plans. Beginning with January 2009 renewals, all small group dental plans (those with fewer than 51 eligible members) will now include an Accumulated Maximum Rollover benefit on their anniversary date. This rollover benefit will allow each member to roll over certain unused annual dental benefits to be used in a future year (provided they meet specific criteria).
