Certificates of Creditable Coverage No Longer Required by the Affordable Care Act

Beginning January 1, 2015, insurers are no longer required to issue certificates of creditable coverage to members.

If a member still needs evidence of coverage, they can contact Member Service at the number on their ID card, and Member Service will provide them with a letter that lists effective and termination dates, as well as the members covered under their plan.
