Blue Links for Employers

Now having healthier employees may give you a healthy tax break

Your wellness programs can really pay off for you and your employees. If you have 200 or fewer employees and your program meets the Massachusetts Department of Public Health requirements1 , you may qualify for a Wellness Tax Credit up to 25% of your annual program costs (up to $10,000).

Several Blue Cross programs could help you qualify. The programs engage and educate employees, creating a happier, more productive workforce while helping you meet your business goals. Popular programs include Healthy Actions, Value-Based Benefits, and others.

Want to find out more? Go to our Wellness Tax Credit page, or contact your account executive or wellness consultant.

1. To have your wellness program qualify for a possible tax credit, eligible programs must be certified and receive a Seal of Approval from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health prior to filing for a wellness tax credit.
