Essential Blue YA

In addition to our Get Blue plans, Essential Blue, designed as a lower-cost health plan exclusively for individuals ages 18-26, is also available. Essential Blue covers the preventive services and other medical services you need to stay healthy. It is the lowest-cost plan available from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts and is available without Rx.

You are eligible if you:

• Are age 18-26
• Live in Massachusetts
• Have no dependents*
• Cannot obtain health coverage through your employer

*If you are married, you and/or your spouse can purchase individual policies.
