How do I start using the EatBetter app?

Simply key in your weight, height, age, sex and lifestyle activity level. Then determine your weekly and total weight loss goals. EatBetter will set your daily caloric target to help you eat healthy and lose weight.

How do I track my calories?

The nutrition page records what you eat for each meal and any other foods throughout the day. EatBetter will then add up your calories and update your progress bar.

What is the nutritional allowance?

It tracks your daily nutritional budget, including fats, cholesterol, sodium, and carbohydrates.

Where does the nutritional information come from?

After exercise, can I manually enter my calories burned?

Sure. You can also use the EatBetter exercise database for reference.

Can I see how I did in the past?

Yes. You can update food/caloric intake from the previous day as well, in case you had forgotten.

What happens when I reach my target weight?

You can continue to use the EatBetter app to maintain your current nutritional intake and healthy lifestyle. If you want to lose additional weight, you can reset your target weight and work towards the new goal.

What if I often eat the same foods?

You can save your favorites to make input quick and easy. Ditto for favorite types of exercise.

Does EatBetter work on all iPhone models?

Yes, but it requires access to the internet and could affect your data plan. All updates are free.
