1099-HC Forms Were Mailed to Massachusetts Residents in January 2013
The April 16 tax deadline is fast approaching. Every state resident is required to have proof of health insurance to avoid paying a tax penalty. This proof of insurance, known as the 1099-HC form, was mailed to all subscribers who were enrolled in a qualifying Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts plan during the 2012 calendar year. Please keep this form, because it must be included with your Massachusetts tax return.
