Medex®' A Medicare supplement (Medigap) policy offered by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. 
Core is a Medicare supplement (Medigap Policy Optional Medicare prescription drug insurance that helps pay for prescription medications. ) plan that helps cover a portion of many health care expenses left over after Medicare has covered its portion of costs.
In addition to Medicare Parts A and B it helps to fill "gaps" in your Medicare coverage and pay your out-of-pocket costs.
Medex Core does not offer a prescription drug benefit.
