I'm 64 and am looking forward to retirement. I have a house on a lake that's full of bass—so I may never go anywhere else. I want a health plan I don't have to worry about—one that let's me choose my own doctor and hospital. I also want to get one of the Medicare Prescription Drug plans I've been hearing about.

I chose MedexA Medicare supplement (Medigap) policy offered by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts. Bronze for my medical coverage and Blue MedicareRx (PDP)* for my prescription coverage. In this way, I'm covered all around. I can still see my doctor and I can go see any specialist he recommends. I have great coverage for my prescriptions, so if I need medication for something that comes up—I'll be right as rain. Also, if I decide to leave my lake house and travel around the country or go abroad, I'll be covered for the same benefits.
