Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts has chosen Express Scripts as our Mail Service Pharmacy.  If your plan includes a benefit for the Mail Service Pharmacy, you can order up to a 90- day supply for most long-term medications, which can save you time.  Because you pay a smaller co-payment for most medications when purchased through the Mail Service Pharmacy compared to the same supply purchased at a retail pharmacy, it can also save you money.  To find out if your plan includes the Mail Service Pharmacy, check with your plan sponsor or benefit literature.

If your plan includes the Exclusive Home Delivery program, you will be required to use our Mail Service Pharmacy to fill certain maintenance medications.

If this is your first time using our Mail Service Pharmacy, follow the three easy steps below:

  • Ask your doctor to prescribe your medications for a 90-day supply, plus refills. (If you're already taking medication on a long-term basis, ask your doctor for a new prescription.)
  • Complete the order form for each member submitting a prescription. Be sure to answer all of the questions. Download the Patient Profile form (PDF)
  • Mail the form to: Express Scripts, P.O. Box 1086, Bensalem, PA 19020-9380. Be sure to write your ID number exactly as it appears on your identification card. Allow 14 days for delivery from the date you mailed the order.

Refill Your Prescriptions
If you are already using our Mail Service Pharmacy, please refill your prescriptions by one of the methods below.  Your order will be quickly processed and sent to you by mail or UPS.

  • Online at express-scripts.com.  Register with Express Scripts and take advantage of secure and convenient online ordering and tracking.
  • Call Express Scripts customer service at 1-800-892-5119. Please have available your prescription refill number, zip code, and credit card information.
  • Order by Fax (Doctors Only). Have your doctor or your doctor's staff fax your completed order form to 1-800-636-9494. Faxes must be sent from your doctor's office. Faxes from your home or workplace cannot be accepted.

Please Note: Certain controlled substances and several other prescribed medications may be subject to other dispensing limitations and to the professional judgment of the pharmacist.
