Whether you are new to Medicare or are interested in learning more about your plan choices during the October 15-December 7, 2016, open enrollment period, the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts call center team is ready to help and is available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week, at 1-800-678-2265 (TTY: 711).

Blue Cross has been providing peace of mind through a range of Medicare plans for more than 50 years.

Our Medicare plans received top honors from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), which helps consumers shop smart. Our Medicare Advantage HMO plan received a top rating of 5 stars from CMS, putting us among the top 14 plans in the nation, and our Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) received 5 stars, putting us among the top 6 plans in the nation. Our Medicare Advantage PPO plan is also a high-rated plan at 4 stars.ii

Individuals who are eligible for Medicare can choose the best Medicare Advantage and prescription drug coverage plan for their health care needs during the October 15–December 7, 2016, open enrollment period, with coverage effective January 1, 2017. A Blue Cross Medex or dental plan can be selected at any time of the year.
