Making it our mission to be community-driven and informed
Helping our members, and all Massachusetts residents, lead healthy lives is our corporate citizenship mission. Central to this is our commitment to health justice and our pledge to take concrete steps to make real change.
While there are no simple solutions to overcoming the barriers to health that many face, one thing is clear: no company can make a lasting, sustainable impact on its own. We must all work together.

Here are just a few of our latest community initiatives:
Excellence in Service
This spring, we celebrated the winners of our annual Excellence in Service Awards. These awards recognize our employees who embody our company values and have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to community service, diversity, equity and inclusion, and climate and health resilience.

Promoting Environmental Justice
We’re accelerating our company's environmental stewardship and committing to be carbon neutral and zero waste by 2030 – two decades ahead of the deadline set by the Paris Agreement on Climate Change. We also announced our $770,000 environmental justice grant to local not-for-profits.
Bringing equitable access to best-in-class fitness
We’ve partnered with the National Fitness Campaign to provide $750,000 in grant funding to municipalities, schools and other organizations who own accessible public space to launch 15 new outdoor fitness courts in communities across Massachusetts.
